ONE-OFF HOUSES
The original Arts and Crafts style house was partly rebuilt and refurbished, with a pioneering frameless glass extension.
This new house design for a site in North Suffolk links with the Roman heritage of the area, and is inspired by the Roman atrium villa plan, and the mass wall construction which they used.
This is a 1964 courtyard dwelling, built in lush woodland and listed grade 2.
We secured planning approval for these 2 modernist dwellings. The craftsman builder client is an admirer of Eichler, who was in turn, an admirer of Frank Lloyd Wright.
